Tournament day

Identifiers

Tournament-day photo codes — what they are, why we use them, and where to grab the official sheet.

Every Summer Slam tournament uses a fresh identifier code that has to be visible on your measuring board in every photo you submit to TourneyX. The code drops at 6:00 PM the night before each event in our Facebook group.

You can write the code on any piece of paper or card you bring — what matters is that the right code is clearly visible in the shot. Our printable sheets below are recommended because they're sized right for the board and easy to read, but they're not required.

What to do

  • Watch the Facebook group at 6:00 PM the night before for that event's code.
  • Print the sheet, pull up the image on your phone, or write the code on your own card — whatever works for you.
  • Make sure the correct code is clearly visible on your board in every photo you submit.

Why we use identifiers

The identifier is how we keep a catch-photo-release tournament honest. The code is announced just before launch, so everyone is fishing the same day, the same waters, and the same conditions — and no photo from before the event can be submitted.
